FOUR-COUNTY PICNIC A SUCCESS!

This past Saturday, August 29th, Marquette County hosted the Four-County Democratic Coalition (4CC) annual picnic in Montello at City Park! The 4CC is comprised of Adams, Green Lake, Marquette, and Waushara counties and each takes a turn hosting the others for a candidates’ picnic. Despite the drizzle we had a fabulous time with delightful music from Prairie Sands Band, delicious brats and other treats, great conversations, and a huge amount of energy and enthusiasm for the November election!

A big THANK YOU to all the speakers, guests, and volunteers who attended! We kicked off the event with remarks from Devin Remiker, Chair of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin. Devin explained how Wisconsin is poised to elect Democrats in a BLUE WAVE that will give us a trifecta in our state. We were joined by the following candidates (office running for): Sarah Godlewski (WI Lt. Governor), Yee Leng Xiong (State Treasurer), Brad Smith (U.S. Congress 6th District), Sasha Ripley (State Senate District 13), Mike Skivington (State Assembly District 39), Christine Maltese (State Assembly District 72), Joey Marschall (State Assembly District 57), Judge Lyndsey Brunette (WI Supreme Court 2027), Judge Pedro Colón (Wi Supreme Court 2027), and Judge Todd Ziegler (District IV Court of Appeals 2027). We were also privileged to hear from Vik Verma, Chair of the WisDems Environmental Caucus. Finally, we were honored to have former Oshkosh State Senator Gary Goyke and his wife Nancy attend as well.

As of his July 2026 campaign finance reporting, over 82% of his donors are from outside Wisconsin! He is trying to take our Democratic votes.
