We are committed to…

We participate regularly in party activities that promote democratic values and ideals. We meet monthly at our headquarters in Montello to focus our time and efforts on concrete steps we can take to improve our communities.

For more information on membership, click here. Members do not need to pay dues, however dues help to support our local and state organization. Only dues-paying members can vote for our local party officers and budget expenditures.

We are volunteers

Our organizational strength begins with a highly engaged Executive Board that maintains active participation across numerous community groups and organizations within Marquette County.

The board includes a Chair, up to three Vice Chairs, a Secretary, and a Treasurer.

Dedicated members help lead core operational functions, including Membership, Fundraising, and Canvassing. This approach ensures focused and effective execution of our party's mission.

We are leaders

We get things done

Our local party is the hub of year-round engagement, effectively executing a comprehensive agenda to advance Democratic values and support our community.

We achieve our mission through several core initiatives:

  • Voter mobilization: Also known as Get Out the Vote (GOTV), we drive Democratic turnout using a multi-channel approach: opt-in text messaging, one-to-one conversations, door-knocking, phone calls, postcards, candidate events, social media, and advertisements.

  • Candidate development and support: We proactively identify, recruit, and support Democratic candidates by reaching out to potential leaders and connecting them to essential local and state resources.

  • Candidate and voter engagement: We provide opportunities for our local community to connect directly with candidates through meet-and-greets, speaker events, and our annual four-county picnic. We actively support candidates at all levels—local, county, state, federal, and judicial—to ensure Democratic success across the ballot.

  • Community support: We are involved in activities throughout the county to benefit local residents and community groups. This includes fostering strategic community partnerships and sponsorships when appropriate. We participate in events including parades, the County Fair, and local festivals. We also organize local initiatives to address community needs, such as our annual diaper drive and feminine hygiene drive.

  • Positive interactiont: We foster a strong sense of inclusion and camaraderie through activities, including potluck meetings, an annual four-county picnic, team-based work, debate/election watch parties, activity nights, and our regular e-news and Facebook page updates.
